Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron
Allison Stokke has been a pole vaulter for more than 20 years. Her birth date was the 22nd March 1989, at Newport Beach California. A photograph of Stokke at an age-appropriate track meet went viral, and she was hailed as the pole-vaulter of the century. Instagram as well as Twitter are her most popular social media sites. Stokke has built a huge social following on Instagram and Twitter. Los Angeles Times and others noted that Stokke didn't seek out and encourage this kind of media attention. In their book Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society Brett Hutchins and David Rowe linked Stokke's case with the case of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo female athletes who were fetishized and saw their public image being framed in a manner which, according to the authors, diminished their accomplishments in sport. Stokke's posts on social media are often insulting and attributed the sexualization of the situation to the female athletes. Many drew a comparison with Brandi's celebration of victory at the FIFA World Cup Final in 1999 wearing a sports t-shirt. Sports events for women were often overshadowed due to debates about their appearance. Photographs of Stokke playing on the track in New York in early 2007 were taken by a journalist for an Californian track and field website and posted online. With Leather sports blog, that has a large male fan base posted the photo in May. The article was titled Pole Vaulting is Almost Legal and commented on Stokke's sexiness. Matt Ufford, the owner of the site that the image was featured on and threatened with legal action by the photographer in the event that the photo wasn't removed. But the post received an enormous amount of attention from other sites and the photo. Stokke quickly earned a following after a dedicated website was created with images of Stokke performing her skills at the pole vault. The images then spread through social media to thousands of internet fans. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. Caron wanted to finish her high school education in Florida. After completing her graduation in 1974, she decided to approach her career in a different way through her job. Alyce, the proud sister of a professor. She is also a college teacher and she receives support from her family. Alyce lives in Texas together with her parents whom both work for the U.S. Army. Within three years they celebrated their father's 92nd birthday. Alyce shared a picture of her daughter's beautiful face on social media to acknowledge her dad's contribution to the U.S. Army. The daughter is focused on her studies and has excelled in the National merit scholarship of the University. In 2022, she celebrated her 22nd year.
